the season of giving.

a few nights ago i was asked to go on a date to temple square with a good friend of mine. while we were there enjoying the lights, sounds, and smiles of christmas, i had an amazing experience. i had the chance to talk to the sister missionaries for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints about christmas and this special time of year. we talked about serving others and giving more this christmas than just a five dollar present. we also talked about our brother Jesus Christ and the gift he gave us-the gift of eternal life. after that talk to those two young ladies that i will most likely never see again, i decided i wanted to make this christmas more special. now i dont want to go and brag saying i am the best and i give, give, give. but i will say i am trying to serve more this christmas. i am so thankful for my family and friends who give so freely and serve those in need constantly. i have amazing examples around me and i am so blessed to have these people in my life. today is my day to give back, to thank those who help me, and to serve everyone around me.
