finally, back to work.

when i moved to cedar city, i had to leave three important things behind: 1- my family. 2-my friends. 3-my job. i don't know if this is normal, but i love to work. i love having a job and the chance to make a little extra cash. i started my first job in 8th grade at Bountiful Family Cleaners. i loved this job. i loved interacting with the customers and working the front desk. i made some great friends while working at BFC and made memories that will last a lifetime.

when i arrived home to bountiful i was offered a job at Bangerter, Lund and Associates. after working at this firm for a summer, there was no way i was going to reject the offer. (and it's a chance to spend more time with my mom :)) today was my first day and boy let me tell you, it was a LONG day. yes, four hours is a normal work day for me but today felt like it would never end. this past summer i was in charge of greeting clients as they came and answering the phones. today, my job was a little different. i was in charge of working with quickbooks and inputting data for the past five years. sounds easy enough right? wrong. it was so confusing at first and frustrating, but i finally got the hang of it. i think. i kinda like the idea of working in an office, but then again my dream of becoming a public relations major is not in a 8x8 cubicle. this job is well worth the experience but i don't think i could do it for the rest of my life... lets hope not at least. i am grateful for the chance to work in an inviting environment with friends and family. today's the day... i found out i can rock quickbooks! so tomorrow when i walk through those doors all i can say is bring it on baby :)
