when life gives you lemons... : and it comes to a close

well i did it. i made it through the first semester of college! i can honestly say these past five months have been full of the most challenging, but rewarding moments in my life. i have met some awesome people, made life long friends, and learned a lot about myself. because so many people influenced my life this semester, i want to give a shout out to a few people who stick out in my mind. first. Kelsey Mitchell. she has to be the cutest girl i know! she is always willing to listen when no one else will. when i am around her i want to be a better person. kels, you are wonderful and i'm so grateful i have a friend like you. second. Heather Anderson. when the rest of the world stepped out, heath stepped in. after meeting this girl two years ago, i knew she would be someone i could always count on. she always gives the best advice and helps me overcome my fears. thanks heath, you are the best. third. Allison Supanich. i don't think i could have asked for a better roommate. allison and i have become so close this semester. i can honestly say she is the sister i never had. she always has the right thing to say and knows how to make a girl feel loved. RAGNAWS for life :) fourth. my mom. without the support of my mom there is no way i would have made it this semester. even though we couldn't always be together throughout the semester, i felt like she was always with me. she is my best friend and i am so glad i can call her my mom. fifth. my two best friends Sydney Dietrich and Emily Davis. i don't know what i would do without these girls in my life. even though we live ten and a half years apart, i know they always have my back. the many texts, calls, or random facebook posts were the best thing to help me through any day. i am so glad we are close enough that we can live far apart but always seem to be on the same page when we all meet up in bountiful. best friends... FOR LIFE! last. i want to thank my Father in Heaven. through this semester i have really learned to lean on him. i have found when i let him take the wheel and i promise to do His will, i am more happy. i am so thankful that i have the knowledge that i am never alone. He is always there, and understands everything i am going through. i am grateful i had the chance to move to cedar city, utah and further my education at SUU. i am thankful for the people in my life who encourage me to be my best self. because of you, today's the day i am putting my best foot forward and turning my time here on Earth over to my Father to complete His will for me.
